Richard was Australian Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010, South Australian Entrepreneur of the Year twice in 1996 and 2010, Founding President of the Young Entrepreneurs Organisation in 1998 (now the Entrepreneurs Organisation), Deputy Chair of the Premiers Climate Change Council (2020-2023) and Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of South Australia (2019-2021).

Richard has now put a lifetime of learnings in starting and scaling successful businesses into his book “The Essential Entrepreneur” released by Wiley Publishing.
