Phillip commenced his working career as a teacher, before establishing his own travel company – Phil Hoffmann Travel – in Adelaide in 1990. Driven by Phil’s genuine passion and energy, the company has grown dynamically over the last 25 years and now has 250 employees in 10 branches, with an annual turnover of over $220 million. The company has been recognised with many awards and Phil has also held many important positions within the travel, tourism and family business sectors. Phil is a strong supporter of the local South Australian community and a very generous benefactor, actively donating to over 50 charities, clubs and associations. In 2012, Phillip was awarded an Order of Australia for his contribution to the travel and tourism industries. Phil is married to Alison and they have 4 children.
