David Wark – “Operation Flinders – Creating ambition in young people for 30 years”

David Mark grew up in Adelaide and attended the South Australian College of Advanced Education.  David holds a Bachelor of Education, Physical Education Teaching and Coaching degree and a MBA in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management.

Coming from a football family, it was natural for David to gravitate to SANFL football administration and he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Norwood Football Club for 8 years.  David then moved to Canberra, where he held the position of General Manager of AFL Canberra for 2 years.

Leaving sport, David then moved into the not-for-profit world, initially joining Novita as the Director of Commercial Services.  David was then CEO at St Vincent De Pauls and just over a year ago he joined Operation Flinders, where he currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer.
