DESCRIPTION:Heather Croall is a leading Australian arts and cultural executive\, currently Director of Carrick Hill. She is widely recognised for her dynamic leadership as former Director & CEO of Adelaide Fringe\, where she drove record breaking audience growth and introduced innovative program activation. \nPreviously Croall was Festival Director of Sheffield DocFest in the UK\, elevating it into one of the world’s best documentary festivals\, while pioneering screenings and events in heritage sites across the Yorkshire Dales and in the Peak District. Her career spans film\, festivals\, and cultural strategy\, with a strong focus on audience engagement and place-based story telling. In her talk Heather explores how historic homes and gardens can be transformed with bold artistic activations that tell stories with strong connections to the site. \nDrawing on her innovative work at the Adelaide Fringe and her international experience\, Heather will share insights into blending arts\, history and environment to reimagine cultural spaces for contemporary audiences. \nAppointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM)\, Croall is celebrated for her contribution to the arts\, her global perspective\, and her commitment to revitalising historic spaces through creative innovation. \nHeather Croall AM will speak on the subject: “Activating Arts\, History & Landscape at Heritage Sites.”

SUMMARY:Malcolm Harslett
DESCRIPTION:Malcolm Harslett has devoted his life to entertainment as an accomplished actor\, singer and dancer\, writer\, producer\, director\, teacher\, songwriter\, designer and set painter\, ice skater and shares his wealth of experience in both live theatre and television. \nWhile his performing career began at the age of 3\, his TV career at the age of 14 and since leaving school at the age of 16\, Malcolm has been consistently employed in a huge variety of productions for local and international touring companies.  He had been\, and continues to be\, the instigator of many local productions.  He’s also written\, directed and starred in 35 original shows including family Pantomime and Theatre Restaurant productions and has also directed dramatic\, cabaret and comedy shows for other companies.  In 2021 Malcolm conceived and directed the show MENwhoDANCE which won 2 Adelaide Fringe Awards and had toured to 5 reginal SA theatres\, including 4 seasons at Star Theatres. \nFor 7 years he was the Creative Programme Director of the Out of the Square (OOTS) Network of 7 Adelaide suburban theatres and arranged 100+ performances annually for the venues. \nSince 1978 Malcolm has been Managing Director his own company ‘Mighty Good Productions’ and the ‘Mighty Good Talent School’ teaching both children and adults acting and speech for Stage\, Film and Television.  He has also written the Acting Curriculum and continues to oversee the operations of the school. In 2019 Malcolm was awarded the Adelaide Theatre Guide’s Richard Flynn Curtain Call Award for sustained excellence and contribution within South Australia. \nSince 2010 he has been the host\, and more recently the producer\, of the National TV programme “Our Time” on Channel 44 having interviewed over 1700 guests from every walk of life for which he has received an Antenna Award in 2023 and in 2025 his programme won the inorgoral ‘Programme of the Year” award.
